Ewa Błaszczyk's "Akogo?” Foundation was present at this year's socio-economic congress Welconomy Forum, organized on March 25-26, 2024, in Toruń. The topics of the 31st edition of the conference included an analysis of the most important challenges for the country against the background of events in Poland and around the world. It was attended by, among others: politicians, local government officials, scientists, businessmen, experts and journalists. The diverse topics of the discussion panels making up the conference program gave participants the opportunity to choose a wide range of content. The event was organized by the "Integration and Cooperation" Association.
The conference program also included a panel on health issues "Treatment of coma and long-term care". The panel was organized and moderated by prof. Ph.D. N. med. Wojciech Maksymowicz, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Department of Innovative Neurosurgery and Neurophysiology of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and Director of the Budzik Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
The President of the "Akogo?" Foundation, Ewa Błaszczyk-Janczarska, also took part in it to talk together with other speakers about the challenges faced by coma patients and their families, in the face of the challenges of an aging society and the increasing number of reported diseases. neurological, especially neurodegenerative.
