Justice Fund

The decision to vote a huge ammount of money, to built the „Alarm clock” clinic for adults in Warsaw, from Justice Fund was made known to public opinion on 6 February 2019. It was announced at the press conference at the Ministry of Justice. Minister of Justice, Public Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro, Ewa Błaszczyk’s Foundation „Akogo?” chairman, Foundation „Akogo?” medical coordinator Tomasz Jastrzębski and plenipotentiary to Justice Fund Dr Marcin Romanowski.

The Justice Fund which is administered by the Minister of Justice will finance building „Alarm clock” clinic for adults. Ewa Błaszczyk’s Foundation „Akogo?” will receive over 37 million pln for this purpose. It will enable to build and fully equip a modern clinic in Warsaw which will provide aid to persons who have fallen into coma.
Ewa Błaszczyk’s Foundation project of „ALARM CLOCK” CLINIC FOR ADULTS won the competiton for building the rehabilitation center for the victims of casualties. More than 600 persons including 150 children fall into coma in Poland every year. More than half are the crime victims – mostly road accidents, but also quite a large group are the casualty victims.

We entered the „Alarm Clock” for Adults Project as more as over 70% of our patients are the victims of road accidents, the so called traffic accidents.
The Foundation’s own money of 2 mln PLN, was necessary for the competition. Additionally the Foundation had the expenses  of 1.4 mln PLN, for the architectonic project.
