Signing lending agreement
Alarm Clock Clinic for adults will be located on Kondratowicza 8 Street in Warsaw. A part of the property covering an area of 1 850 square meters was transferred by the voivodship self-government in lending to the Foundation. In this clinic adult patients who are in coma, which is a consequence of a neurological injuries, will receive help. They will be hospitalized, treated and rehabilitated. The clinic will give a home to the research and development center, which will be the leading facility of this kind in Poland as well as a hospital, in which pioneering medical and rehabilitation treatments will be performed. Their goal will be the effective “waking up” of adult patients.
On July 23, 2019 marshal Adam Struzik, a member of the board of the province Elżbieta Lanc, president of the Foundation Ewa Błaszczyk and the administration of the Mazovian Bródno Hospital - Teresa Bogiel and Wiesław Malicki signed the property lending agreement. The event was also attended by Paweł Skowronek - medical director of the Mazovian Bródno Hospital and prof. Mirosław Ząbek - Clinic Manager / Clinical Coordinator at the Neurosurgery Clinic of the Postgraduate Medical Education Center in the Mazovian Bródno Hospital.
Alarm Clock Clinic for adults will be furnished with 18 beds as well as with a specialized medical and rehabilitation equipment. The design of the clinic will be based on the design of Alarm Clock Clinic for children, which is working next to the Children’s Health Institute in Warsaw. Design’s authors are Jacek Bolechowski and Krzysztof Popiński from Autorska Pracownia Architektury CAD Sp. z o.o.
