The mothers of the children we support are superheroes, too—and the children themselves are heroes fighting many battles.
We celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday, and Children’s Day is just around the corner!
We want to tell you about a foundation from Szczecin that is close to our hearts; they bring smiles and hope to children in oncology wards and also visit the patients in the "Alarm Clock" Clinics.
They dress up as characters from fairy tales and movies to make dreams of meeting a favorite superhero come true.
We had the chance to visit them at their headquarters.
We saw firsthand how their costumes are created and how they prepare for their next missions.
Although they are based in Szczecin, their mission reaches children across Poland and Europe.
