Visit

Once again, our Clinics were visited by the Superhero League Foundation.
Everyone is waiting for their arrival!
We accompanied them with our camera last weekend during their visit to the “Alarm Clock” Clinic for Children in Warsaw.
Thank you on behalf of ourselves and our patients for the time you dedicated to us!

Objects

In reference to the tragic accident at school (choking with a candy), we recall our social ad from 2008.
We appeal not to leave small objects with small children.
What happened and how to provide first aid in the material below:

Michał

In March this year, another recovered patient of the “Alarm Clock” Clinic for children will be going home.
Michał told us his story, what he remembers from the coma period and what his priorities are.
How can you support the boy’s further rehabilitation:

Relaxation

In January this year, sound therapy classes were held at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
Our students and their guardians had a moment of relaxation for themselves on Saturday afternoon, when they no longer have classes.
Thank you very much on their behalf!

Concert

Yesterday evening at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw was different than usual.
Our pupils were visited by the Pruszkowianka Brass Band and performed a nearly hour-long concert.
For the first time, we hosted so many musicians in this Clinic.
We listened to Christmas carols, but also songs related to carnival and film music.
The unforgettable performance was concluded by the Bandmaster of the orchestra, addressing our Warriors with the following words: (...) I wish you to have the eye of a tiger within you, brave and predatory (...)"

Sound therapy

Last weekend, at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for children, workshops were held, which were used by the caretakers of our patients.
Sound classes were met with great interest and were a nice break from everyday hardships.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the best to all Grandmas and Grandpas!
Their support, even in the Clinic, is invaluable.

WspólneCarols kolędowanie

Christmas is behind us, but we still remember the pre-Christmas moments that we managed to spend by the Christmas tree, with our patients and their caregivers, at the „Alarm Clock" Clinic for adults in Warsaw.
A talented physiotherapist from the Clinic and her relatives enriched our meeting with a beautiful violin performance.
Together we sang the most beautiful, traditional Christmas carols.

Science never sleeps

On November 14th and 15th, 2024, meetings were held at the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for Children in Warsaw, with the participation of: Prof. Dr. Armin Bolz (Germany), Prof. Arshad Majid (Great Britain), Prof. Dr. Halil Özcan (Turkey) and Selin Erdoğan Gezen (Turkey).
On the second day, invited speakers from abroad shared with us their knowledge and experience related to the use of the tVNS device for transcutaneous stimulation of the vagus nerve.
We are in the early stages of understanding this method and its effectiveness regarding coma patients.
