World Coma Day

The Chicago-based Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) and the creators of the international coma treatment Curing Coma® campaign  invite you to the second annual World Coma Day, which will take place on March 22nd, 12:00 - 23:59. GMT under the slogan „The path to recovery"

World Coma Day is a full-day global online event, scientific lectures by medical experts, educational sessions for patients and their families, stories about remarkable recovery of patients, and short videos from coma centers, patients and families around the world.

The purpose of World Coma Day is:
  • Presentation and extension of the current knowledge on coma as a clinical unit
  • To encourage physicians, patients and patient advocates to get involved in the Curing Coma® treatment campaign
  • Motivating the community of doctors and coma centers to jointly participate in current and future research projects devoted to the treatment of consciousness disorders.

A year ago, Polish institutions and centers dealing with the treatment of coma patients joined the World Coma Day celebrations. Similarly this year, we invite you to participate in the second Polish edition of this event.

On the World Day of Coma in Poland on March 22, 2022, this year we will meet under the slogan "People and coma".
We will talk about a coma from the perspective of families, patients and medical staff.

On March 22, 2022, an online event will take place, all the necessary information will be published on the profile www.facebook.com/WorldComaDayPL
  • From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. there will be a series of short public lectures conducted by specialists in the field of coma
  • 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. there will be a panel discussion with medical staff, families and patients.
