The Day of the Patient in a Coma


Polish holiday, thanks to the efforts of the "Akogo?" Foundation, adopted by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on November 23, 2012. The day of the celebration was set on April 18th.
As part of yesterday's celebrations, we invited a tenor, Mr. Nazar Tatsyshyn, to the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children.
Nazar Tatsyshyn – Soloist of the Lviv Philharmonic. He is a graduate of the State Academy of Music. M.W.Lysenka in Lviv.

- acquiring patrons and sponsors
- proficiency in administrative and official procedures
- representing foundations (offices, media, events)
- fluent English

"Alarm Clock" for adults in Warsaw will hire a physiotherapist

"Alarm Clock” Clinic for adults in Warsaw will employ a physiotherapist on the basis of a civil law agreement or contract.

Requirements:
- education: master's studies in physiotherapy (licence to practice - registration in KIF)
- Ability to assess the patient's condition and maintain medical records
- conducting classes in the field of kinesitherapy
- operation of equipment necessary to carry out treatments, e.g. hydrotherapy and physical therapy (electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, laser therapy, local cryotherapy).

Webinar on Coma Patient Day

On April 18th, 2023, Coma Patient's Day falls, as part of this year's celebrations, the theme of which is the issue of communication, we would like to invite you to a webinar addressed to specialists and staff dedicated to this topic.

Specialists from all over Poland will deliver papers:

Love

Today, Antek leaves the "Alarm Clock" Clinic for children in Warsaw.
Great joy on this special day!
The boy's dad told us about hope, people's support, about the visit of his friends and about what is most important to Antek.
As he says at the beginning "(...) I have always seen this spark in Antek (...)"
Antek, love and fight, and we keep our fingers crossed for further, fruitful rehabilitation!

Awakened

The last broadcasts of the series are ahead of us. „Awakened", on TVP.
„Awakened" is a 10-episode documentary series about people who survived a coma, came back to life and our world.
This is an extraordinary record of the fate of our heroes, especially meaningful around Easter.
And what started it all was told by the director of the series, Ms. Alina Mrowińska.
