Choose Varsovian of the year 2019!

We are pleased to announce that the President of the „Akogo?” foundation - Ewa Błaszczyk has been nominated for the title of „Varsovian of the year 2019”!

The plebiscite aims to honor a woman who through her proffesional or social activities, has contributed in a special way to the development and promotion of Warsaw.

We invite you to Wrocław!

We cordially invite you once more on 17th to Wrocław (9 AM- 8 PM) for the event „Hairdressers are helping”

At the Solny Square, under a tent, there will be 6 hairdresseing standpoints. Hairdressers will be cutting hair all day long. One can decide both on just a trim or entirely change one’s hair style.
Masters will also take care of lady’s and children’s haircuts, including cutting out sophisticated patterns. Among organizers and hairdressers who were invited to take part in the event there are:

Hairdressers are helping us!

"Akogo?" foundation has been invited by Mayer&Matykiewicz Barbering Academy in Wrocław to an extraordinary event. 

For the first time, together with the Master Mario Mayer, hairdressers in Wrocław will be cutting hair all day long in return for the donation for the goals of our foundation. The best worldwide known masters of hairdressing will take care of every metamorphosis.

Signing lending agreement

Alarm Clock Clinic for adults will be located on Kondratowicza 8 Street in Warsaw. A part of the property covering an area of 1 850 square meters was transferred by the voivodship self-government in lending to the Foundation. In this clinic adult patients who are in coma, which is a consequence of a neurological injuries, will receive help. They will be hospitalized, treated and rehabilitated.

Thank you!

The “Akogo?” Foundation got an invitation from WSB Universities to participate in the event “Praktycznienajlepszewykłady,” in which we had an opportunity to win 17.000 zlotys to accomplish Foundation’s goals! Along with WSB, Daniel Rusin (ReżyserŻycia) decided on supporting our foundation, however, Katarzyna Mecinski (Fifty na Pół) who was supporting Stowarzyszenie mali bracia Ubogich eventually got more votes and won 17.000 zlotych for this organization. Congratulations and best wishes to the winner.

Another three recoveries in the Alarm Clock Clinic for children

Wiktoria fell into a coma in January 2018. Her condition was not getting better for many months. The engagement and cooperation of doctors, rehabilitants and therapists from the Alarm Clock Clinic made it possible to wake Wiktoria up step by step. Despite the obstacles on her way to recovery, Wiktoria started reading, writing, playing chess and painting again!

Recent recoveries in the Alarm Clock Clinic for adults in Olsztyn

We gladly inform you that other two patients woke up in the Alarm Clock Clinic for adults in Olsztyn. The team of specialists in the clinic in Olsztyn woke up Mr. Jakub and Mrs. Halina

The creator of the clinic in Olsztyn, Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz, during the press conference in Alarm Clock Clinic informed that awaken patients are in good condition and require further rehabilitation.
We cross our fingers for Mr. Jakub and Mrs. Halina and wish them a quick full recovery!

„Alarm clock” clinic for adults

The decision to vote a huge ammount of money, to built the „Alarm clock” clinic for adults in Warsaw, from Justice Fund was made known to public opinion on 6 February 2019. It was announced at the press conference at the Ministry of Justice. Minister of Justice, Public Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro, Ewa Błaszczyk’s Foundation „Akogo?” chairman, Foundation „Akogo?” medical coordinator Tomasz Jastrzębski and plenipotentiary to Justice Fund Dr Marcin Romanowski.

The press briefing

The press briefing, at which we presented the project of the future  „Alarm clock” clinic for adults in Warsaw, took place on 16 December 2018.
„Alarm clock” clinic for adults will be built on the alotment which belongs to Mazovian Municipality Government.

Letter of intent

Letter of intent was signed between Mazovian Municipal Goverment and Mazovian Bródnowski hospital and Ewa Błaszczyk’s „Akogo?” foundation concerning building „Alarm clock” clinic for adults in Warsaw was ceremonially on 18th September 2018.
